1.) public relations department (広報部)　「広報」は英語でpublic relationsと訳せます。「部」という漢字は英語でdepartmentという意味があります。PRはpublic relationsの省略です。例えば、I belong to the public relations department as a supervisor to advertisements and public relations. (広告やPRを担当する広報部に所属しています)

I work in the public relations department は（PR部門で働いています）と相当することです。例文　I belong to the PR department.「PR 部門に所属しています。」例文　I used to work in the PR department.「前は PR 部門で働いていた。」参考になれば幸いです。
