偽 ブランド:大学一年生って英語でなんて言うの？

追加で他の言い方を紹介します。① a freshman in collegeアメリカではこの順番です。1年生：freshman2年生：sophomore3年生：junior4年生：senior[高校](http://eikaiwa.vntkg.com/uknow/questions/42187/)も、[大学](http://eikaiwa.vntkg.com/uknow/questions/36222/)もこの言い方を使います。高校1年生でしたら「college」じゃなくて「high school」なので、こうなります。高校1年生：a freshman in high schoolアメリカの高校は殆どが4年式です。ちなみに、中学は2年だけです。小学校も中学校も「freshman」などを使いません。② a first-year college student大学生は英語で「college student」です。「1年の」という英語は「first-year」です。なので、大学１年生は「a first-year college student」とも言えます。続いて、大学2年生　a second-year college student大学3年生　a third-year college student大学4年生　a fourth-year college studentもちろん、高校の場合は college student を high school student に変えたら使えます。例：I will be a college freshman starting in April.私は4月から大学1年性になります。

I'm going to be a college freshman from this April.「4月から大学1年生になります」freshman だけですと[高校](http://eikaiwa.vntkg.com/uknow/questions/42187/)1年生と混合されてしまう恐れがあるのでcollege/university freshmanと言います。大学2年生は　college/university junior大学3年生は college/university sophomore大学4年生は college/university senior　と言います。ちなみに[卒業生](http://eikaiwa.vntkg.com/uknow/questions/57504/)は alumnus（複数形は alumini）と言います。日本語で言うOB・OGは和製英語ですので英語では残念ながら通じません。
