偽ブランド:行ったけど、営業してなかった。って英語でなんて言うの？

時短要請で、時短や営業を自粛するお店が増えてます。その中で、お店がやってなかった。営業してなかった。ということを伝えたいです。

I stopped by but they were closed.

ーI went there but they weren't open for business.「行ったけど、営業していなかった」not open for business で「営業していない」ーI stopped by but they were closed.「立ち寄ったけど、閉まっていた」stop by で「立ち寄る」closed で「閉じた・閉店した」ご参考まで！

I went to the restaurant/cafe/shop but they were closed.

They weren't open.営業していませんでした。They were closed.閉まっていました。I went to the restaurant/cafe/shop but they were closed.レストラン/カフェ/お店に行ったのですが閉まっていました。上記のように英語で表現することができます。open で「営業している」、not open や closed で「閉まっている」ことを伝えることができます。お役に立てればうれしいです。
